Word is getting around about my tulips
There were 3 deer in my garden last night and it wasn't dark, they are becoming quite bold. I think word is getting around that there are tulips to be eaten. I believe that they are discussing ways to circumvent the physical security measures I have implemented ;-)

We opened the pool cover today. The pool guy finally fixed the salt water filter. Within 5 mins (literally) we had swallows ducking and swooping in the water and drinking from it. Now its late and the ManU AC Milan game is finshed and I realize the alarm is still on (goes off when kids get near it in theory) and ....Oh shit, swallows and stray animals and pools and ....I am off to bed!

You know that deer are able to swim, they sometimes migrate between the islands here. In summer they swim, in winter walk over the ice. I guess they do this to find fresh supplies of tulips :-))
